I try to run the occasional contest on this website and I’m always looking for new ideas. I think I may have had a good idea a couple of weeks ago while talking to a friend. I am going to offer a free subscription to my online continuing education program at ShoulderSeminar.com.
I am trying to be fun and creative and thought that Fruit Ninja tournament may be something interesting!
If you haven’t heard of Fruit Ninja, well then, you are living under a rock and this contest isn’t for you anyway. If you have an iPhone or iPad and don’t have Fruit Ninja, trust me it is worth it.
Here is a trailer for the game, so simple, yet so addictive…
Here is the information – you will need to be on Facebook, have me as your friend, and have Fruit Ninja on your iPhone or iPad. From now until the end of the weekend, let’s say Sunday 2/13/11 at midnight EST, whoever posts the highest score on Facebook will be the winner – BUT – you have to beat me too! I will occasionally post my top scores on Facebook over the weekend.
Here is what you need to do to enter:
- Make sure you are on Facebook and have Fruit Ninja on your iPhone or iPad
- Make sure we are friends on Facebook, see my link on the top of my sidebar to the right
- The contest is for Fruit Ninja, single player, arcade mode, for 60 seconds – make sure you are playing in arcade mode.
- After finishing a game, click on the link to share your score on Facebook.
- Send me a message in Facebook to let me know your high score that you posted so I don’t miss it – but you have to officially submit your score from within the game too. Feel free to comment to this post with updates and bragging rights too!
- Contest ends Sunday night 2/13/11 at midnight EST.
- Don’t cheat, we are all adults here…
The highest scorer that ALSO BEATS ME, will win a free subscription to ShoulderSeminar.com, you can start whenever you want, just let me know.

Hi Mike I love your site… however NOONE can beat my 10 year old daughter at fruit ninja, she’s insane. I cant wait to try it out IF and thats a big IF I can pry my ipad from her grasp. I have seen “my” ipad for all of about 30 seconds since I bought it.
I think this applies to Android as well.

You all are ridiculous at this game. I won’t post an official score yet, but haven’t even cracked 400.
Well I missed it by that much…my highest is a 691….still some time left in the day but I think I’m starting to see double vision from all the slicing I’ve been doing!
Man, I’ve only broken 700 twice and think I blacked out both times! I need to get going tonight. Anyone going to crack 700????

Mike just when I started to feel really good about myself and my 717 you get almost 60 points higher….back to the drawing board!
yeah I am stuck down in the 300′s still… between anatomy homework and getting ready for work. Need quite a bit more time in the dojo to even come close to what you all are doing! fun contest.
