The New Balance Minimus, Why We Move Poorly, and DOMS
Hope everyone is enjoying the short holiday week. This week’s stuff you should read has some great articles from Gray Cook, Eric Cressey, and Patrick Ward.
Why We Move Poorly, and What to Do About It
Gray Cook writes a really detailed post about why we move poorly and what we need to do about it. One simple point of the article that I thought was great was that we probably shouldn’t start with corrective exercise. Rather than adding corrective exercise to poor habits, start by eliminating bad habits first!
The New Balance Minimus Training Shoe
Many people have asked about the New Balance shoes that I am wearing in my last few videos on YouTube. They are the New Balance Minimus shoes and they are great training shoes. Rather than go into why I think so, Eric Cressey does a great job for me!
DOMS, Performance, and Pain
Patrick Ward just writes good articles. Everytime I head over to his website I learn something and enjoy doing so! This article discuss recent research on the psychological component to delayed onset muscle soreness and it’s impact on performance.

Also wanted to give a shout out to my friend DK, follow him on Twitter @Think2Win, he sends out great tweets about psychology and performance. Think of it like a daily mind vitamin!
