Phil Page reviews a brand spanking new article from JOSPT on the effect of isolated hip strengthening exercises on anterior knee pain. I may have to review this article more fully on the site here as well!
The Effect of Retraction on Shoulder Mechanics
David Whitely featured two great videos from Youtube demonstrating what happens at the shoulder during arm elevation with and without retracting your scapula. Pretty cool fluoroscopy videos. Thanks to Jeff Cubos for sharing this on Facebook.

This upcoming weekend in Mercerville, NJ Mark Toomey and Dr. John DiMuro are holding a clinical HKC course. It’s the first time they are presenting the HKC course in this manner. A large part of the education will be from the flouroscopic imaging Mark and Dr. DiMuro have been working on for some time now. The course sold out very quickly but i’m sure there will be more upcoming in the future. You can find a better course desription on the DragonDoor website.
