Used with athletes of all ages, from weekend warriors to professional athletes in every sport:

What is the Champion Performance Specialist program?

A simple, yet comprehensive system for rehab and fitness professionals to learn how to assess, optimize, and enhance movement-based performance. Watch me explain more below…

What if there was a proven system, that once learned, could take all the guesswork out of how you assess people move and help you develop your therapy and training programs?

Mike Reinold
Champion Physical Therapy and Performance

A system developed over the last 20 years for both rehab and fitness professionals…  and successfully used daily to help 1000’s of people, ranging from weekend warriors to professional athletes, restore, optimize and enhance their performance?

A comprehensive program to help you get started fast for those early in their careers…  or to show you how to refine what you are currently doing to get even better results for those already established in the middle of your career?

A simple system that you can follow…  so that you can feel comfortable knowing that you’ll always know what to do so you aren’t overwhelmed with how to assess, treat, and train people?

And at the end, if you could use this system to grow your expertise…  become the go-to person for people with more advanced goals…  have a blast going to work every day knowing your schedule is packed with these people…  and even grow your revenue and take back a little control of your schedule?

When we started Champion PT and Performance, one of our biggest goals was to develop a standardized approach to how we look at movement, and then easily determine the best treatments and training programs for that person.  We wanted to create a comprehensive system that could be consistently performed by our physical therapists and strength coaches.  But it had to be simple to implement and scalable as we learned new things.

This helped us so much.  And now I want to share this system because I know how much it’s going to help you.

That’s what The Champion Performance Therapy & Training System is here for.

A trusted source of education…  in a clear, understandable, self-paced learning format that suited your schedule.…  and with real-life advice to help guide your professional development.

What’s Inside the Program?

Complete Movement Assessment System

The Champion Integrated Movement Assessment looks at our 9 fundamental movement patterns and posture.  We’ll go over the step-by-step approach to perform our movement assessment and cover all the potential compensations we look for during each movement.  We’ll then detail our entire breakdown assessments for the upper body, lower body, and core.  You’ll be able to quickly and easily follow a systemized approach to looking at movement and creating a checklist of things to address with your programming.

We’ll review our entire system to restoring mobility, strength, and dynamic control using self-mobility drills and corrective exercises.  You’ll be able to use these drills and exercises to restore and optimize mobility and neuromuscular control.  You’ll be able to quickly and easily pick drills based on the movement assessment results.

Complete Manual Therapy and Exercise Drill System

Our entire approach to manual therapy, including all our soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques, plus our entire manual strength and dynamic stabilization programs.  We’ll cover our exact multi-phase progressions of manual strength and dynamic stabilization exercises for the upper body, lower body, and core.

Manual Therapy Techniques
Strength and Conditioning

Complete Strength and Conditioning Training System

Our complete system of performance based strength and conditioning based off the movement assessment.  We’ll cover our program design system, all the components that go into each of our programs, how we regress and progress exercises, and then periodize over time to maximize performance.  You’ll learn how we apply these concepts to both rehabilitation and performance programs.

john larue pt

“When I was first getting started, it was easy to feel lost or overwhelmed during the patient evaluation process, particularly when treating an athlete, or someone that just wanted to be able to move better again.

My experience working with Mike Reinold and those at Champion PT and Performance has been imperative to my learning and decision-making as a young clinician. This systematic approach gave me the tools to not only be an independent and critical thinker, but allowed me to understand how to truly implement performance and functional movement into my practice. This program is a game-changer for any clinician or strength professional striving to be great.”

“As an Athletic Trainer, bridging the gap between rehabilitation and strength training is critical when working in a high-performance environment.  As a healthcare provider for 19 years, the system outlined in becoming a Champion Performance Specialist has continued to dial in my ability to build effective and efficient programs.

The Champion Performance Specialist program allows me to communicate at a high level with all stakeholders involved in the rehabilitation and strength training process of clients, athletes and performers.”

Eric Gahan, MS LAT ATC CSCS C-PS

Head Therapist/ Head Athletic Trainer, Cirque du Soleil

Kiefer Lammi CCPS

“As a strength and conditioning coach with over 5 years of experience, I’ve been through a ton of continuing education courses and often leave with more unanswered questions and overwhelm when it comes to where to start.

When I started using the system, I felt like it was the first resource that’s helped me organize and systemize my approach to consistently get better results. I’ve been frustrated in the past with being fed an all-or-nothing approach that tries to force me into one way of thinking, but with the Champion performance system that’s not the case. I’m able to take the skills I already have and my own preferred methods and incorporate them into an even better performance approach that’s easy for me to use and even easier for me to teach to the coaches under me.

On top of that, because it’s built for clinicians and coaches alike, I’ve learned invaluable skills that have helped me communicate better with PTs, ATC, and other professionals that have grown my network and helped me deliver a more comprehensive, integrated service for my clients.”

“There is so much information available to physical therapy students and new graduates today, finding the right information to guide evaluation and treatment can be overwhelming. The Champion Performance Specialist program is perfect for streamlining this information.  The program covers all aspects of therapy and training from evaluation and early stage rehab to elite athletic performance.

This system has been one of the most valuable resources in my career so far.

I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you are a sports specialist working with elite athletes or just looking for guidance to work with more active populations, this is the system for you.”

A complete system for both rehab & fitness professionals, and for both those experienced or just getting started

“Mike has done it! Finally a program that is applicable and follows sequences that can be started immediately! I’ve gone through other similar courses and this one is very well organized and complete. I’ve been able to improve patient outcomes and make major functional improvements. I highly recommend anyone working in the field of movement, rehab or just pain relief to take this course.”

Justin Southall, DC, CCAP, FDM, C-PS

“This is the course I have been looking for! I was excited to learn an organized structural and functional hybrid assessment and treatment algorithm program. My two colleagues have also taken this course. We all went to different PT schools, and this program will help us gain a more universal approach to providing assessments and treatments for our patients.”

John L. Moran, PT, DPT, C-PS, New Orleans, LA

“Superb! As a PT with 25 years of experience I was initially skeptical as to whether it would be worth the investment. But as always, Mike delivers. The systems, forms, drills, and exercises have added to my skill-set and my clients love what I’m doing with them. Mike’s exceeded my expectations.”

Caroline Bourcier, MSPT, C-PS, Owner Livfit Project

“I have already been able to drastically improve my efficiency of helping patients correct their faulty movement patterns and be quicker on the road to recovery. This course has improved my assessment efficiency and provided new tools to use in the evaluation of my patients. I would recommend this course to any fitness or rehab professional looking to provide the best care to their clients.”

Adam Carver, DPT, CSCS, C-PS

“This program is one of the most comprehensive packages out there that can be used across both sports performance and sports therapy environment. Mike Reinold does a great job showing how both the two worlds can flow together to benefit the client and maximize results of both.”

Josh Epstein, CSCS, SCCC, C-PS, Harrisonburg, VA

“I am a personal trainer. I have already reassessed some of my clients using the information learned and was able to pinpoint some of the compensations cause more precisely which in turn has enabled me to change the workouts prescribed so they can be more effective for my clients and their fitness growth.  I am excited to see my own growth both as a (self) client and as a trainer.  I highly recommend this for Physical Therapists and Personal Trainers. It makes so much SENSE!!!!!!!”

Jane Reiff, Personal Trainer, C-PS

“As a DPT student with a background in strength and conditioning, I’ve had a hard time deciphering the most optimal way to bridge the gap between them.  The Champion Performance Specialist Program has nailed it! This system is perfect for guiding you through a gross movement assessment, narrowing in on dysfunction, treating it, and then optimizing the body with an approach that you can easily adapt with your other skills. As a student, I plan to utilize this system as my framework to build my clinical and performance skills off of.  I can’t recommend this program enough!”

Eric Summerford, SPT, CSCS, C-PS, Atlanta, GA

“The Champion Performance Specialist Course is the most comprehensive system I have encountered in almost 29 years of practice as a Certified Athletic Trainer.  Mike’s program has provided me with more clinically useful information than any classroom course I have ever been in.”

Russell H. LAT, ATC, C-PS, Mississippi

“Thanks Mike for the awesome opportunity to learn from you and everyone at Champion! The Champion Performance Specialist course really tied a lot together for me as a DPT student. Being able to connect the dots from assessing movement to choosing interventions has made me much more confident in my ability to help my future clients. Great tools, techniques, and strategies that I will definitely be applying!”

Absolutely.  I’ve had a ton of PTA’s go through the program.  The majority of the program is about what to do after an assessment, but knowing as much as you can about assessing movement is helpful.

Absolutely.  Going through the program is a great way to get started with your career.  Think of it as a cheatsheet of everything I’ve learned over the last 20 years to get you ramped up fast.  It’s going to take some practice and reps with clients, but you’ll be more comfortable faster in your career since you can follow a proven system.

Absolutely!  I know a ton of people with a variety of years of experience that love the program.  Many people have great experience, but trouble putting it all together.  This program will help you organize everything you do, and combine it with everything I do, to refine your own personal system.

That’s the real glory of this program.  It’s customizable to take into account things you already do, and scalable as we learn new things!

If you’re looking for a proven system that you can follow, and combine with everything you already do, this is perfect for you.

Do your clients move?  One of the first things we cover in this program is that “performance” can mean anything, not just athletics.  If your client wants to get the most out of their body, then this program will help.

I think there will be a ton that you can apply.  The general concepts are universal, so learning how I tackle movement issues will definitely help.  Sure, there’s a spectrum.  I’m not sure if your people will need to sumo deadlift, but that doesn’t mean they don’t need to hinge.  I’ll show you the entire progression/regression spectrum and you can decide how far your clients can go.  I may have 4-phases of drills, but that doesn’t mean each person goes through each of the phases, many will benefit from just working on Phase 1 or 2.  You may have a lower threshold of what you define proper movement, but the goal is simply to maximize what each person can do.

I’ll  be honest with you, I’ve gone to soooo many continuing education and certification programs over the years.  The C-PS is how I’ve put them all together over the last 20 years, combining what I’ve seen work, what hasn’t worked, and my own personal experience.  I’ve been disappointed with other programs in the past that pump me up and get me excited, but then I can’t figure out where to get started or how to apply what I’ve learned.

This program is designed to do the opposite.

I’m going to show you everything I look at when assessing movement, and then based on what I find, how I build my therapy and training programs.  When you’re done, you’re going to know EXACTLY what to do.

The entire program is new!  Many of my other online courses compliment this one really well, but everything here is brand new.  The biggest difference is that this is a complete system, not just concepts.  You’ll learn my whole systemized approach to assessing movement, and then restoring, optimizing, and enhancing performance.  You won’t be disappointed.  Oh, and thanks for taking some of my other programs too!  :)

The C-PS course is not for specific diagnoses. I think there are two ways we approach things: structural and functional. Courses on joints, like my shoulder or knee courses, go over the specific evaluation and treatment of injuries to these areas. The C-PS is the functional component to take this to the next level. This looks at how well the body moves and then builds programs to restore, optimize, and enhance that movement and performance. They go together.

Yes! All of the course videos have subtitles in English as well as these other languages:

Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Arabic
